Yes, absolutely. We operate with full professional transparency. El Carretón is officially authorized by the Department of Health, ensuring that all our food preparation, storage, and handling protocols meet rigorous safety standards. Additionally, we hold a comprehensive business license from the City of Gainesville to operate our food truck services, and we carry full commercial liability insurance. We maintain these credentials to provide our corporate and private clients with the highest level of professional protection and operational accountability.
How far in advance should I book catering? ▼
We recommend booking at least 7 days in advance for standard events and 14 days for larger gatherings. For events with 100+ guests, please reach out at least 3 weeks ahead so we can make sure everything is perfect.
Does El Carretón deliver and set up the catering? ▼
Yes. All our catering includes delivery, full setup, and serving equipment. For larger events we also provide chafing dishes and sternos to keep food hot throughout. Breakdown and cleanup are included as well.
Can I customize my catering order? ▼
Absolutely. We tailor every order to your needs — choose your proteins, sides, salsas, and add-ons like dessert or our famous Cheesy Rice. Just tell us what you need.
Does El Carretón cater for dietary restrictions? ▼
Yes. We offer vegetarian, gluten-friendly (corn tortillas), and dairy-free options. Please let us know about any dietary needs when you submit your request. Our grilled veggie protein is a favorite even among non-vegetarians.
What areas does El Carretón catering serve? ▼
We serve Gainesville, GA and surrounding areas within a 30-mile radius, including Oakwood, Flowery Branch, Braselton, Dahlonega, and Cleveland. A small delivery surcharge may apply outside this area.
Is a deposit required to book catering? ▼
A 30% deposit is required to confirm your reservation, with the remaining balance due 48 hours before the event. We accept all major credit cards and cash.
